My brother was talking about some comedy movie that he saw a while
back when he was a teenager. It had a scene with a guy that's
explaining to someone how some ants (that are in a thin glass cage)
make their tunnels. After the long explaining he says "they hate it
when I do this" and he shakes the cage, making the tunnels fall apart.
He also has these puppies that he wants to experiment if they can fly
and throws them out of the window of his apartment, one by one.

direct an adaptation of Lawrence Frank's novel _A Walk Among The
Tombstones_.*

Which comes as a bit of a surprise, considering Caruso is also signed
on to helm the movie version of comic book _Preacher_ – a hefty
project that should surely be draining all of his manpower.

_Tombstones_ follows two men who kidnap the women of drug dealers and
demand ransoms for their return.

Enter private investigator Scudder (a role a young Harrison Ford was
once interested in), who agrees to help a dealer when his wife is
killed by the kidnappers.

It’s a dark premise, but Frank’s tomes are filled with
vibrant characterisation and labyrinthine plot twists – exactly
the reasons Hollywood’s been tango-ing with an adaptation for
years.

According to _Deadline_, _Minority Report_ writer Scott Frank will
write the script, and will be going for an R-rated tone.
