What is that comedy movie called?

My brother was talking about some comedy movie that he saw a while
back when he was a teenager. It had a scene with a guy that's
explaining to someone how some ants (that are in a thin glass cage)
make their tunnels. After the long explaining he says "they hate it
when I do this" and he shakes the cage, making the tunnels fall apart.
He also has these puppies that he wants to experiment if they can fly
and throws them out of the window of his apartment, one by one.

Does anyone know what film this is? Please I so wanna watch it with my
